When I was growing up, we never had any chores. My mom wanted things done her way, and didn't have the patience to teach us (eve though she always said that she just didn't have the time to have the job done twice). Even when she had back problems, she preferred buying a dishwasher rather than have us wash the dishes, or hired a housekeeper when she was too tired to clean up the house herself.
So when I moved out of the house, the toughest part of living with other people was that I didn't know much about housekeeping. Part of it was that I didn't know to do the chores correctly, but another part was that I often didn't realize that something had to be done – much the the annoyance of other people around me.
Of course that eventually I learned all I needed to know about housework. But I guess that in a way I never liked doing any of them since they always seemed to be part o the annoying things we have to do as grownups. But if there's e chore I truly don't like – that would be dishwashing. Somehow getting up close and personal with all the dirty parts of the dishes isn't pleasant.
